Player of the Year (POY)

Catamount Poker is pleased to announce the 2018 Player of the Year award!  This is an award for players who participate in poker tournaments and league games run by Catamount Poker. Players will earn points with each tournament/league game played, as long as there are a minimum of 15 players.

 Here's how it will work...

This year will run from December 22, 2017 through December, 2018. All of the tournaments/games run by Catamount Poker will be included, unless specifically identified as not eligible for POY points. Cash prizes will be awarded, as usual, to the top positions. However, all players will get Player of the Year points. You will get one point for playing. The player with the most points at the end of the year will be awarded the trophy, shown above!

In addition, at the end of the season, a freeroll will be held for any player reaching 25 points or more.  Prize money for the freeroll will come from one buy-in from each of the eligible Catamount Poker tournaments/games throughout the year. 

Point standings will be updated monthly on the attached page (click on the link below). Monthly emails will also be sent out with the latest results. Finally, the Tournament Director will have the current point standings available for all players to see at each of the tournaments. 

The more tournaments you play, the more points you can make, so join the fun, and shuffle up and deal!!!
