1.All chips must be visibly displayed at all times.  Players may not have tournament chips in their pockets at any time.  A player who has chips in their pocket will forfeit the chips.  The forfeited chips will be taken out of play from the tournament. Ask the tournament Director if any questions arise.

2.No rabbit hunting is allowed. (No Rabbit Cam)

3.Player’s verbal declarations in turn are binding

4.Each side pot will be split as a separate pot.  Side pots will not be mixed together before they are split.

5.“Call for the clock” rules:
a. Once a reasonable time has passed and a clock is called for, the player has 30 seconds to act on their hand.  If action has not been taken within the allotted time the hand will be dead.
b. The clock is not stopped unless the Tournament Director requests the clock be stopped..

6.If a player exposes any card with action pending, the hand MAY be killed by the Tournament Director.

7.When action is finished for the hand due to players being all-in, all hands must be turned face up before any remaining board cards are dealt.

8.The one-player-to-a-hand rule will be enforced.

9.Tournament seats will be randomly assigned, but reasonable accommodation will be made for players requiring accessibility for wheelchairs, crutches, etc.

10.The English-only rule will be enforced during the play of hands.

11.Cell phones are allowed at the table, but a player must step away from the table to place or answer a call.  Headphones are allowed at the table if the volume is not distracting to other players, but are not allowed once all remaining players are “in the money.”

12.  Players may ask for a deck change during a tournament.

13.When time has elapsed in a round and a new round is announced, the new limits apply to the next hand.  A hand is begun with the first card dealt off.

14.Players must keep their highest denomination chips visible at all times.

15.. Dealer must muck player’s hand if player is not at their seat when the action is to them, including the big blind before the flop.

16.Players going from a broken table to fill in seats assume the rights and responsibilities of the position.  They can get the big blind, the small blind and the button.  They only place they cannot get a hand is between the small blind and the button.

17.The Tournament Director may, at their sole discretion, assess the following penalties on players to enforce tournament rules:
a. Verbal warning.
b. Declaring player’s cards a dead hand.
c. Requiring additional bets to be posted.
d. Forfeiture of some chips.
d. 10, 20, 30, or 40 minutes away from the table.
e. Disqualification – all of player’s chips are removed from play.

18.Players are obligated to protect the other players in the tournament at all times.  Discussing cards discarded, hands, or hand possibilities is not allowed.

19.In no-limit, when raising, a player must either put the amount of the raise out in one motion or state the amount of the raise.  By stating the word raise, a player protects their right to raise, but the raise must be made in one additional motion unless they state the amount.

20.Verbally disclosing the contents of a player’s hand or advising a player how to play a hand MAY result in a penalty.

21.In no-limit, less than a full raise does not reopen the betting to a player who has already acted on their hand.

22.The Tournament Director’s decision is final.

23.Tournament play will use a “Dead Button”. If the small blind is eliminated, the button moves to the now empty seat (the seat vacated by the eliminated small blind). The player who was the big blind now posts the small blind and the player to his left posts the big blind. The player who was the button will, in effect, be the button once again. If the big blind is eliminated and is not replaced, the button moves to the player who was the small blind and the player to the left of the eliminated big blind posts the big blind. There is no small blind for that hand. If both blinds are eliminated and not replaced, the same player will be the button three hands in a row. The button moves to the empty seat (the seat vacated by the eliminated small blind player) and the player to the left of the eliminated big blind posts the big blind. There is no small blind for that hand. On the following hand, the button moves to the next empty seat (the seat vacated by the eliminated big blind player) and the two players to the left post the normal blinds. The button and blinds are placed normally for the following hand.
